Justin Williams is a Core Player with Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. He has performed regularly with the group since 2006. He is also a member of the of the TinAlley String Quartet, winner of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, 2007.
Justin completed a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours in 2002 and a Master of Music Performance Degree in 2005 whilst studying with Caroline Henbest and Brett Dean.
Justin has given solo performances for the Melbourne Symphony Friends Society, Ormond College, and with artists including the Muir String Quartet, Keith Lockart and Syoko Aki.
Justin has performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Melbourne, and the Melbourne University Chamber Orchestra.
In 2007, Justin performed with the TinAlley String Quartet as the only Australian group in the fifth Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. The group also won the ninth Banff International String Quartet Competition in Canada in mid-August, 2007.
